Tasmanian Polytechnic
The role of the Tasmanian Polytechnic is to prepare students for work, support career advancement and career changes, and provide applied learning pathways to university.
The Polytechnic will offer nationally and industry recognised qualifications from Certificate I to Advanced Diploma as well as Tasmanian Qualifications Authority (TQA) accredited courses (including some pre-tertiary), foundation courses, the Tasmanian Certificate of Education and school-based apprenticeships.
Teachers will be required to have the necessary qualifications for delivery and assessment as defined by the AQTF.
